As a Facilities Planning Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving improvements thru the management of initiatives and project clusters . Your focus will be on strategic planning, project execution oversite, and effective communication with management. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Initiatives:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans related to facilities initiatives.

  • Identify improvement opportunities and align them with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives.

Project Management:

  • Manage facilities-related project clusters from inception to completion.

  • Coordinate and monitor project teams, budgets, and timelines.

  • Ensure successful implementation of facility improvements.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to management.

  • Foster collaboration between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Present data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Process Optimization:

  • Evaluate existing processes and identify areas for enhancement.

  • Implement best practices to streamline facilities planning and execution.

  • Monitor project performance metrics.

Budget Oversight:

  • Develop and manage budgets for facilities projects.

  • Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with project goals.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with facilities initiatives.

  • Implement contingency plans as needed.

Vendor Relations:

  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

  • Negotiate contracts and monitor performance.

Safety:

  • Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron’s safety policies

  • Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws

  • Reports all safety-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.)

  • Performs audits and submits good catches on safety issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in program management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven track record (typically 5+ years) in facilities planning, project management, or related roles.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
