Works as an assistant to Corporate Trust Legal Counsel.  Provides customer service and initiates actions in support of the Legal Team.  Responsible for preparing, saving, and delivering documentation necessary for Corporate Trust transactions and assisting in special projects and requests. Mentors and trains less experienced Legal Assistants.

Experience/Skills necessary to perform duties:

• Skilled in using various office software programs.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

• Ability to assess needs/requests of customers and prioritize tasks and assignments accordingly.
• Self-starter
• Provides leadership to the Legal Assistant Team
• Associates degree or equivalent experience

Regular Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Assist Corporate Trust Legal Counsel with account set-up and document preparation

·       Research customer inquiries and requests

·       Assist in maintaining and researching the Aircraft N registration records

·       Provide assistance with the verification of the due diligence of new customers

·       Prepare documents for filing with Federal Aviation Administration

·       Lead/assign Corporate Trust special projects

·       Provide guidance to less experienced Legal Assistants

·       Process correspondence related to transaction requirements

·       General filing and typing

·       Scanning and saving documents

·       Prepare overnight courier packages

·       Interact with customer and attorneys in connection with transaction set-up and inquiries

·       Obtain and maintain notary

·       Manage the Bank's responsibilities on the International Registry

·       Assist marketing efforts in the department including organization of marketing supplies

• Assist with new employee onboarding process

·       Attendance is an essential function of the job.
